Astro IT Solutions Corp. (“Astro IT Solutions”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

When you email us, or use our contact form (which opens your own email app), we receive what you choose to send. This is usually your name, email address, company name and the details of your inquiry.

Information collected automatically

Our website is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare. To deliver the site securely, Cloudflare processes technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the date and time of each request. This information is used for security, performance and to prevent abuse.

Cookies and analytics

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies, for example to tell legitimate visitors apart from automated traffic. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits in aggregate; it does not use cookies and does not track you across websites.

6. How long we keep it

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, or as long as the law requires (for example, business records kept for tax purposes). Inquiries that do not lead to a working relationship are deleted when they are no longer needed.

We protect personal information with safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls on the accounts we use, and limiting access to people who need it.
